rings take 4

So I settled in today to make some earrings and instead made four rings.

sorry for the poor lighting there.

top left is a amber and braided wire size 12, then a green jungle jasper and blue topaz size 7. In the center is a young jade size 9, all three are made with plated silver. on the right however is a sterling silver (.925) with a golden jade nugget. I'll try for better pictures tomarrow.

Last but not least I also managed to get a good shot of my floating Garnet necklace.^^

So in rather than go into great detail the previous postings necklace was 'too plain'. Now she likes it.

Moonjewels

Moon stones are always lovely no matter if they are rounds or chips such as these. My mothers favorite stone as well she asked this peice from me. Moonstone chips and sterling chain with matching earrings

garnets

I have much better pictures this time of the ring. its a silver size seven drilled garnet ring and matching 6 inch bracelet that also has garnets and iridescent glass beads. I don't normally make such small jewelry but I do need a variety of sizes for the fair.

there is also a matching necklace but i havent gotten a shot of it yet.

dangles and rings

What I was referring to with ear dangles were these neat little things. they are quite simple on the wirejig. the fine tuning has to be done by the person wearing them but the final appearance makes it look like you have pierced ears. they do have a tendency to swing out towards your shoulders if you are doing something as active as jogging however. this particular set is blue topaz and silver.

I finished this little red lady today as well, a garnet wrapped in silver plate(sterling is expensive). With it being a size 7 ring i can't wear it but it will hopefully find a good home. (sorry the pics grainy my camera isn't the best)

Earrings or Dangles?

I'm trying to decide if I should make more ear dangles which are a loop that goes around the back of the ear giving the appearance of peirced ears when they are not actually peirced rather than earrings to match the majority of the necklaces I have already made.
perhaps both in this case.

My ears were pierced when i was younger and I hated it, they have long since closed up but I still enjoy earrings hence the dangles. I'll upload some pictures later tonight when I have a few things finished.

Works in progress

So heres my WIP of my mask. Not quite a beaut yet I still have a lot left to do and shes still missing a jaw. I have one its just giving me fits being attached and articulated to actually Work.

I'm trying to rig the ears to swivel either with a pulley or with weights somehow  and will be adding a fan as well when it is nearing time to fur her. this is the fourth version I think so far and hopefully the last for a long time.
